What type of file formats to provide for printing?
Illustrator CS5
InDesign CS5
Photoshop CS5
TIFF
JPEG (We would prefer TIFF file for better image quality)
Acrobat PDF
Recommendations while sending files for printing!
For digital printing all colours should be supplied in CMYK with Spot Colours as required. Create files with Adobe Acrobat on the 'Press Quality' setting.
Convert fonts in to paths/outlines in the original file, embed fonts in the PDF file
Add 3mm bleed.
Do not add crop marks, colour bars etc.
Supply native application files if the design uses multiple transparency options.
Supply images in 300dpi.
Supply all linked files/fonts

Recommendations while sending files for wideformat digital printing!
For wideformat digital printing all colours should be supplied in CMYK with Spot Colours as required. Create files with 'Press Quality' setting from the native program.
Convert fonts in to paths/outlines in the original file, embed fonts in the PDF file
Add 10mm bleed.
Do not add crop marks, colour bars etc.
Supply native application files if the design uses multiple transparency options.
Supply images in 300dpi.
Supply all linked files and fonts
Use 300dpi images for files printing under A2 in size, 150dpi for images above A2 size
Supply artwork at 100%, 50%, 25% or 10% of full size with bleed.
Embed colour profiles in images and let us know what colour profiles you used in your document.
